nuvi 3790T has an intuitive interface that greets you with two simple questions: "Where To?" and "View Map." Touch the color screen to easily look up addresses and services and get voice-prompted, turn-by-turn directions that speak street names to your destination It comes preloaded with detailed City Navigator NT street maps for the U.S, Canada and Mexico with nearly 6 million points of interest (POIs) such as stores, restaurants, hotels, entertainment venues, gas stations, ATMs and more, and speed limits for most major roads. With 3-D Building and Terrain view, you’ll see representations of prominent buildings in many cities and map contours at low zoom levels, giving you a realistic perspective of the terrain.

Go Beyond Navigation

Also offered on nuvi 3790T are standard nuvi features that go beyond navigation. For example, ecoRoute — a green feature that helps you calculate a more fuel-efficient route, tracks fuel usage and more. We used this GPS on a cross-country trip from New Jersey to California and it worked great! The ability to give voice directions was very convenient.

I've purchased this unit thinking I was getting a good and dependable unit, after 3 months , on the first trip from florida to Canada, I could not get the voice guidance when used on the w/shield brkt, so when I got home , I contacted Garmin 's customer's service and they refered me to an outside supplier Which is telling me that it will take 90 days to have the unit repaired which I find exagerated since , it's going to be close to beeing out of warranty before I get to try it out, furthermore we are now in the season in which we need the device. So I will be going back to my Magelan six year old unit that has never let me down, so following this experience I cannot recommend this unit.
